Bill Bucher [photo study for weight loss product], Los Angeles

Bill Bucher was a chef and long time friend of Mizer who often hosted holiday and birthday dinners for all who were on location at AMG. Bucher frequently assisted with photo shoots and Physique Pictorial editing. In January 1965, he and Mizer were robbed at gunpoint in the studio by model "Silky Paradi" (James B. King) and accomplices. In August of that year, Bucher was the person who brought the news to Mizer that model John Davidson had died en-route to service in Vietnam. Struggling with weight issues his entire life, Bucher passed away in 1967.
