Ed Fury was an American actor and bodybuilder who achieved fame in the 1950s and 1960s for his performances in "sword and sandal" films. These were low-budget movies set in ancient Greece or Rome that featured muscular heroes engaged in epic battles and feats of strength. Fury starred in a number of these films, including "The Seven Revenges" and "The Fury of Hercules". He was also a popular model, posing for physique magazines and advertising campaigns. Despite his success in the film industry, Fury eventually retired from acting to pursue a career in real estate. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 94.
